Chakra Energy

The human body contains seven vital chakra energy centers. Each of these energy centers contains and manages the life-force that flows through our bodies.

Whether you view the chakras as literal places in the body or as metaphoric ones, they can help you activate mind/body connections to help you heal, regain, and refuel your life-force.

Seven Genuine Gem Stones - one for each chakra
Amethyst - the Crown Chakra is the center of spirituality; associated with the higher self and enlightenment; the perfection of mind, body, and spirit. Blue Lace Agate - the Throat Chakra is the center of communication and self-expression through thoughts, writing, speech, dance, and art; provides energy for both verbal and mental communication.
Carnelian - the Sacral Chakra, is the center of desire, emotion, creativity, sexuality, authority, and power. If you feel ineffective or insecure, meditate on this chakra.

Green Onyx - the Heart Chakra is the center of the higher emotions; tenderness, compassion, unconditional love, group consciousness, and is spirituality associated with "oneness with all that is".
Sodalite - the Third Eye/Brow Chakra is the center of spiritual vision, higher intuition, and true wisdom; sometimes call the "sixth sense;" the seat of outside guidance; the intuitive "aha."

Tiger's Eye - the Root Chakra, is the center of physical energy and self-preservation; effects how secure we feel in the world; activates and strengthens the will (e.g. the will to live, to survive, to manifest, etc.); synonymous with "grounding" the physical self.
Yellow Jade - the Solar Plexus Chakra, is the center of personal power, ambition, self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-respect; intellectual and psychic awareness; and represents the link between mind and emotions.

In the end, I wonder if one of the most important steps on our
journey is the one in which we throw away the map.

- LORRENNA McKINNETT, 1997
